Sommelier Marissa Copeland of Tocqueville - Biography

Marissa Copeland began her wine training at New York’s beloved, now lamented, Chanterelle, under the guidance of Master Sommelier Roger Dagorn. Copeland studied with the American Sommelier Association and is certified by the Court of Master Sommeliers. She was the floor sommelier at SHO Sean Hergatt before coming to Tocqueville in Union Square. The position not only has Copeland overseeing floor sommelier and wine buying duties, it has her—happily—reunited with her first teacher, Dagorn.
