A native of Miami, Florida, Chef Jeremiah Bullfrog continues to build his reputation as one of South Florida’s most innovative purveyors of haute cuisine. Bullfrog attended Johnson & Wales University in 1998, and from there set off around the world with stages and gigs at El Bulli, wd~50, Spice Market, Café Grey, Aquavit, Cayo Espanto in Belize, and St. Thomas's Havana Blue.
Bullfrog then turned his focus to building experience as a personal chef, serving the owners of a high-end boat and sailing from the Bahamas to the Dominican Republic, St. Thomas, and Spain. Returning to Miami, he took his personal culinary style and catering skills and started Bullfrog Eatz, Inc. in 2004. The company became the vehicle for Bullfrog Eatz, a catering venture, club, and restaurant in Wynwood, Florida, that played host to nearly every up-and-coming music act in South Florida. Bullfrog also launched GastroPod, a renovated Airstream trailer outfitted with culinary technology that serves as Miami’s roving gourmet kitchen.
In 2012, Bullfrog participated the Food Network’s “Chopped” series, showing of his culinary chops to a national audience and making it to the final round of his episode. Along with his successful culinary ventures, Bullfrog currently serves as personal chef to rap performer Rick Ross and launched the pickling company PicklePeoples in 2012.
