She then became chef de cuisine of Cleveland’s Noodlecat, assisting Rising Stars alum Jonathon Sawyer with the development of new recipes.

Remaining in the city, Horvath joined Gordon Square’s Toast as chef and general manager. Along with creating the wine bar’s concept, she crafted and perfected the menu, utilizing produce and poultry from the restaurant’s farm which she built and planted, and oversaw all catering events, parties, and cooking demonstrations. Restaurant Hospitality named her a “Rising Star Chef” in 2014, while Toast became a Cleveland press darling and a favorite amongst locals. Following, Horvath served as the resident chef for culinary retailer Sur la Table. There, she was in charge of directing cooking classes for consumers and taught many of the classes offered.
