Chef Iso Rabins of forageSF - Biography
Iso Rabins founded ForageSF in early 2008, with the mission to connect the Bay Area community with wild foraged foods through a monthly subscription box, CSF; underground dinners; and an underground farmers market. The goal is to provide an alternative to the supermarket, encouraging sustainable and fair trade products. As part of their community focused philosophy, 50 percent of the profit from the sale of any product purchased by ForageSF from a forager goes straight to that individual, in effort to promote foraging as a full time profession. Rabins is currently in the process of opening Forage Kitchen, a co-working space for the Bay Area’s food producers.
