Pastry Chef Heather Bertinetti of The Lion - Biography

In 2008, Pastry Chef Heather Bertinetti joined the team of Altamarea Group restaurants Alto and Convivio. A year later she also took charge of the pastry program at Marea. When Osteria Morini opened in 2010 she also took on the responsibility of their pastry program. In winter 2010 Bertinetti left Marea and Osteria Morini to just oversee the pastry programs at Alto and Convivio. Both restaurants closed in March 2011. She is currently heading the pastry program at West Village restaurant The Lion, under John DeLucie. Bertinetti also plans to oversee the pastry menu at DeLucie’s Crown when it opens.
