Chris Albano began his career at a banquet hall on the South Side of Chicago as a bus boy and prep cook. He received his formal culinary education at Moraine Valley Community College, graduating with honors in 1999. Remaining on the South Side, Albano ran the Cajun-Creole kitchen at Maple Tree Inn, eventually moving on to the burbs to do the same for Eclectic Global Eatery, 10 West, and McNally’s Irish Pub.

In 2006, Albano joined Tavistock Restaurant Group and helped launch seasonal American ZED451; he followed that up with the executive chef gig at Gold Class Cinemas for Levy Restaurants. Venturing from Chicago, Albano ran the kitchens at Fulton’s Crab House and Wolfgang Puck Café in Orlando, Florida. Returning to Chicago in 2012, Albano became executive chef at Arlington International Racecourse of Levy Restaurants.
