Chef Brian Roche of One Dock - Biography

Chef Brian Roche started out in the industry as someone who knew nothing about food. Now, 15 years later, he still feels like he’s learning something new everyday. This is what keeps him committed to his craft through the long and tough hours. “There’s nothing else in this world I’d want to do,” he explains. Roche stared working with Chef Todd Winer at Olives when he was 16. He had a chance to travel and see different food traditions around the world and from Winer he learnt his focus and to keep pushing forward for better things everyday. After working under Ken Oringer, a former’s Rising Stars Mentor award, Roche moved to New York City to be at Olives in Union Square. He was then invited to be a part of the tea, at One Dock. Currently he is the executive chef at Lolita Cucina and Tequila Bar in Boston’s Back Bay.
