Rising Star Mixologist Brian Kimmet of DOLCE ENOTECA E RISTORANTE (Now Closed) - Biography
Growing up in Ypsilanti, Michigan, Brian Kimmet began working in the restaurant industry at age 15, bussing tables for local restaurants. He soon began working his way up the ranks of the bar in a number of positions including server, bar back, and finally bartender.
When Kimmet moved to Los Angeles in order to pursue acting, he quickly fell in love with L.A.’s pulsating nightlife. By working teh evening shifts, Kimmet could hone his self-taught mixology skills, perfect his cocktail service, and flaunt his talent to an appreciative crowd. Settled at Dolce Enoteca e Ristorante, Kimmet served a packed restaurant almost every night, mixing up new creations for his thirsty customers, and showing off the skills that won him a 2004 StarChefs.com Rising Stars Award.
