Pastry Chef Breanne Varela spent four years at Suzanne Goin's Lucques and AOC (for three of those years she was the head pastry chef) with only a deck oven and stovetop within reach of her small corner workstation. Now, as pastry chef at Suzanne Goin's newest restaurant, Tavern, Varela has all the fun pastry toys she can think of to create nostalgic, comforting desserts.
