Adam Curling is one tasting test away from earning his Master Sommelier certification, which is no surprise coming from a sommelier with such a broad range of experience. This Advanced Sommelier did three months of wine travel and trained in Germany during college, with a work history that includes The Inn at Little Washington and Michel Richard’s iconic Citronelle, where Curling worked as a sommelier, and The M Resort in Las Vegas, which he recently helped open as wine director. When he’s not coaxing what he calls the “symbiotic” relationship out of every wine and food pairing, Curling is also a developing wine broker (and an advocate of pairing with fortified wine). But he leaves enough time in his busy schedule for the essentials, whether they include a bottle of Priorat or playtime with his three year-old son.
