Stephanie Zonis has been fascinated by food and tinkering
with recipes for longer than she’s willing to admit. Her mother
taught her the basics of cooking before turning her loose on an
unsuspecting world. After receiving an M.S. in Foods from Virginia
Tech, Stephanie developed recipes and wrote about food for businesses
as diverse as a specialty food store and a raisin promotion board.
Having no formal culinary training, Stephanie describes herself
as a “home cook” rather than a chef, but she believes
there’s a need for both. Since May of 1997, Stephanie has
worked almost exclusively with chocolate, with which she has had
a lifelong love affair.
