My name is Stephanie Zonis, and welcome to the September,
1998 edition of "For Chocolate Lovers Only". Each month you'll find
great recipes, tips, and recommendations on where to find chocolate
Chocolate Recommendation of the Month: The Omanhene Cocoa
Bean Company, P.O. Box 22, Milwaukee, WI 53201-0022. Omanhene
makes the best dark milk chocolate I've ever tasted; yes, it is
a dark milk chocolate. It's velvety smooth, with an intriguing
flavor that is at once creamy and quite chocolatey. Wonderful!
Check out their website at: www.omanhene.com
(you should be able to order electronically by now), call them
at 1-800-LUV-CHOC, or fax them at 1-414-332-5237. The chocolate
comes in miniature bars; the bars, each wrapped in a colorful
label, are presented in clever gift packs, so they're great for
holiday or corporate gifts. They have a hot cocoa mix and mugs,
too. Attention, readers; place any order with Omanhene through
16 October, 1998, AND mention this column ("For Chocolate Lovers
Only") and you'll receive a discount of 15% off the price of the
products you order (not including shipping).
