    The Strawberry Blonde
    Adapted by
    Yield: 1 Cocktail


    1 strawberry, topped and halved
    Freshly cracked black pepper
    ¾ ounce simple syrup
    2 ounces white rum
    ¾ ounce lemon juice
    ¼ ounce grenadine
    1 barspoon white balsamic vinegar
    ¼ ounce egg white

    Place the strawberry in a cocktail shaker with the cracked pepper and simple syrup and muddle. Add the rum, lemon juice, grenadine, and vinegar, adding egg white last. Dry shake the cocktail (without ice), for 15 seconds. Shake the cocktail with ice for 30 seconds, then fine strain it into a highball glass and top with soda.
