It is Rose Levy Beranbaum’s nature to strive for perfection.
However, her meticulous nature and thorough knowledge of baking
never overshadow her kind and nurturing personality, and she is
ever-ready to share her passion for pastry. This passion has translated
to an extensive catalog of cookbooks.
Beranbaum has written eight cookbooks, with another currently in
the works. Her books and writing have won countless awards, including
The James Beard Award for Desserts and Baking in 1990 for Rose’s
Christmas Cookies. More recently, Beranbaum has been working
on the second season of her television show, “Baking Magic
with Rose Levy Beranbaum,” which airs on PBS. She is also
working on a product line, which is scheduled to launch this summer.
