Essential Pantry Items

Last January we moved from a two bedroom apt to a 17 room
farmhouse. One of the MANY joys about living here is my
8ft x 5 ft walk-in pantry. However, the following are
what I have also considered essential and have always
managed to keep on hand no matter where I've lived:

1. assortment of dried pastas
2. cans/jars artichoke hearts
3. LARGE library of spices
4. cans of tomato puree
5. ramen noodles
6. supplies for Mexican and Oriental cuisines
7. canned clams
8. assortment of oils and vinegars
