: Recently we went to our favorite Corky's restaurant in Knoxville, Tennessee. The waitress got our order totally wrong and then blamed us for not ordering correctly. We eat there often enough to know what we like and don't like, but she was really rude and our food was cold when she finally and begrudgenly made it right.
: I personally believe that waiters and waitresses are very underpaid and I do not mind leaving a good tip, but under circumstances like this, she got stiffed. No one should have to tip for rotten service, under any circumstances.
: We never even got an apology from her or even any kind of curtious remark. She just flat out told us that she was not going to argue with us and that we shold order correctly in the first place. People like this do not deserve tips.
: I don't care what the waiters and waitresses of the world think, they do not deserve a tip for bad service.

Hi Julie. I'm VERY shocked about your experience. Did you know that this restaurant was recently (and I mean like 2 days ago) featured on "The Best Of" on Food TV?? I'm sure it was recorded a while ago, but I'm surprised that RaVeD about this restaurant so much when there is obviously a problem with the waitresses. Do you know if it was a "newbie" or not? I would definitely notify the Mgr. next time you visit. ALWAYS notify the Manager when there is a problem. Like another responder said, it's quite possible this rude waitress didn't even notify anyone that you were unhappy. That just adds to her unprofessionalism. I would have left a PENNY as a tip---that way, she knows you didn't "just forget"!
