: Customers who after ordering appetizers and entrees tell you that theyhave to hurry because they have theater tickets and the show starts in45 minutes. I run a fine dining establishment, not a fast food joint. Ifyou want a nice dinner before the show plan ahead and give yourselfenough time to enjoy it.

I work in a fine dining restaurant near the local ballet/symphony theatre. I can't believe the number of guests that make a 7:00 res for dinner then state upon arrival that they have to leave by 8:00 to make the performance. We open at 5:30!! To top it off, they still insist on ordering 4 courses!!! Why do that to yourself? Come in earlier and enjoy your meal. if you can't come in earlier, just order an app and dessert or entree and dessert or whatever. Don't order four courses then pressure the waitstaff and kitchen to rail everthing out. Where's the pleasure in that? The Art of Dining Well is slowly being lost in our society. What a shame.
