In order to correct the wrong it is often best to speak with the manager of the restaurant for full acknoledgement. Ask for another food server if treated this way in the future. Most managers would prefer to know because it is possible that this foodserver never informed anyone that you were unhappy with the service. Any good manager realizing that they could loose repeat business would have appologized and most likely given some kind of comp wether it was a desert or a discount on your meal or possibly even the entire meal. And on top of that this food server would have been reprimanded and the incident would not occur again. I am a retired foodserver, no one deserves poor service and rude treatment. Someone who treats customers that way should not be in the business!
