No i agree with you.. customers take for granted that they are gods in restaurants and all too often order things that are clearly explained.. and then dont like how it looks or even tastes.. and insist it be returned..
Nowhere in menus nationwide does it state that all food comes with a guarantee in looks or taste.. Thats why there are desciptinons.. so you can read it and decide to try it. You order it you buy it.. why should the restaurant take the loss because you tried something different or it wasnt what you expected it to be? That just increases everyones cost because prices will go up to cover all that.. and especailly with crab.. its not as if you can just steam it over and over again.. serving it until someone decides it is what they like/want.. Thay might have left but most people should understand that food doesnt come with a money back guarantee...
