I offer a prix fixe menu which changes nighly. Last night I offered Soft Shell Crabs...along with a brief menu description detailing what a Soft Shell is. Early season cost for top quality Jumbo's is $3.70 @ pop...I give 2 per order. Inevitably some dweeb orders them thinking he/she's getting crab legs and sends them back to the kitchen.
The waitstaff was told that this year, I won't accept returns. Sho'nuff, it happened again. The customer was politely informed that his request for a re-make wouldn't be honored...unless he paid for the crabs. They went ballistic and walked-out. Was I right or wrong?
