: I dont understand how some people can be so miserable in restaurants when they go on holidays. They yell at their kids, act rude, place unreasonable expectations on wait staff and the kitchen and generally do things they wouldnt dream of doing at home or some one elses.

: I understand that sometimes things go wrong and they have a valid reason to be pissed off but that doesnt give them the right to take it out on proffessional people who generally go out of their way to accomodate people the best thart we can.

Congrats, you have worked on a day that the
inexperienced eaters go out and eat. You have
kinds of customers. Those who go out on a
regular basis, and those who go out on a
special occasion basis. Those who got out on
a regular basis know how to eat, what to eat,
and how to tip. Those who go out only on
special occasions, ie Mothers Day, don't
know how to eat, what to eat, and don't know
how to tip. They are the enemy...8)
