Children can be a problem when dining out---even their parents admit this, but to blame the person seating you is wrong. It's not their fault if there might be no other seating, or if the child arrives after you. Being around kids is one thing, but being around NOISY kids is another. If they're being quiet, what's the problem? It's the noise and lack of responsibility on the parents to quiet their kids that makes the problem. An angelic quiet child in a restaurant is something to be proud of. (although hard to find) :)
: WHAT?! So you give the poor waiter/waitress a lower tip because the host sits you by children? Maybe you should stop eating at chain restaurants.. I mean, there are TONS of restaurants that cater more toward adults, you just have to be willing to spend the money.
