I checked the price for the same champagne at another similar nearby restaurant last week and the price was $170! By the way, the $110 bottle was at Cousins Heritage Inn in Dexter, Michigan and the $170 bottle was at The Earle in Ann Arbor, Michigan -- a 7 mile drive will save you $60!

I prefer to eat at restaurants because they have a Chef whose food is interesting. If all I care about is drinking than I go to a liquor store and really save money. It is true that some restaurants charge more for wine a lot has to do with their overhead.
