Janet's Sausage with Vegetables

Ingredients:

Simmer sausage in 1 cup water for 20 minutes. Drain and cut into 1 inch slices. Set aside. Cook rotini until el dente and set aside. Saute onion, garlic, and veggies in 1 tbsp. olive oil. Add sausage, Saute garlic and veggies until tender crisp. Add sausage, spices, and basil. Add balsamic vinegar, 1 tbsp. olive oil and about 2 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese. Add to rotini, toss well and serve topped with fresh grated parmesan, and fresh chopped basil. Serve hot foccacia bread as well. Bon Appetito
