Pasta with tomato, basil, and brie

- 1 1/2 pound ziti or other pasta
- 10 ounces brie cheese, chopped into bite-sized pieces
- 3-4 medium sized fresh tomatoes, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/2 cup basil, coarsely torn into pieces
- 3 tbs olive oil
- salt and pepper, to taste
In a medium-sized bowl, combine the tomatoes, garlic, brie, and olive oil.
Stir to just blend and set aside.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, and
cook the pasta until just tender. Drain the pasta and put in a large serving bowl.
Add the tomato-cheese mixture and toss to coat.
Just before serving, toss the
basil with the pasta, and grind some fresh pepper over the dish. Serves 6.
