  yield: 1 drink

  • 1/2 fresh (unpasturized) apple cider*
  • 1/2 ounce arrack or Pernod
  • 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice, plus 1 strip lemon rind
Put 4 ice cubes in large old-fashioned rocks glass. Add cider and arrack, and stir. Add lemon juice and stir again. Serve with long, thin twist of lemon rind and stirrer.

*Available in the produce section of many supermarkets.
