Pecan Pumpkin Pie

Preparation:

Using Libby's pumpkin pie filling for two 9" pies, mix as directed on can. Prepare crust for two 10 inch pies and pour pie filling evenly over the two crusts. It should be about 2/3 to 3/4 full.

Cook at 450 for 20 minutes and then reduce to 350 and cook for 20 minutes.

While the pies are cooking, mix together in microwavable bowl 1 cup salted butter, 1 cup brown sugar. Cook for one minute in microwave or until butter is melted. Mix well and add 2 cups pecan pieces.

After pie has cooked for the forty minutes, spread the pecan mixture evenly over the two pies and cook for 15 minutes longer.

This is really good! Put foil on crust edges if they are browning too quickly.
