Entrant's recipes can be any original recipes for Passover Seder.
Every night of Passover two winners will each receive a copy of Joan Nathan's cookbook.
All recipe entries will be available on StarChefs once the contest begins.

Jewish Cooking In America
Much more than a cookbook--though it does contain over 300 recipes--this
entertaining volume is also a history of the Jewish people through their food. Nathan
introduces both people and food in a preface that discusses dietary laws, Jewish
holidays, Jewish immigration to the U.S., and the impact of Jews--and their food--on
American culture. With every recipe comes an original story or a reprint of an article or
a personal vignette that intrigues and/or edifies. For instance, the recipe for falafel
appears complete with a profile of Moshe, owner of the best falafel pushcart in New
York City. There are also lots of photos, both modern and historic. A number-one
choice for cookery collections, but make sure history buffs can find it, too.

The contest begins March 18, 1999 and ends April 9, 1999.
The winners will be chosen by random drawing. Winners will be
notified by phone or email. No purchase or payment of any money is necessary
to enter. One entry per household. All entries become exclusive property of
StarChefs and Boiling Water Inc. and will not be acknowledged or returned.
StarChefs or Boiling Water assumes no responsibility for lost, late,
illegible, incomplete or misdirected entries.
Contestants may also enter by printing the words PASSOVER RECIPE '99 SWEEPSTAKES,
your name, address and zip code on a 3-inch x 5-inch card. Mail in an
envelope to: StarChefs 270 Lafayette Street Suite 205 New York, NY 10013
Attn: Sweepstakes. Each entry must be mailed separately. Entry limited to one
person. Entries that are printed by machine or otherwise mechanically
reproduced will not be accepted.
Prize Structure:
One (1) prize every day from March 30th, 1999 until April 8, 1999 with an estimated
retail value of approximately $29.00 USD will be awarded.
Odds of Winning: The odds of winning will be determined by the number of
valid entries received, as determined by StarChefs. All decisions are
final. No substitutions of the prize are allowed.
Eligibility: Contest open to residents of the United States only
.Contestants must be 18 years of age or older. Citizens of Canada and other
countries are excluded from participating and receiving any prizes from the sweepstakes.
Return of any
prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and
an alternate winner will be selected. By acceptance of prize, winners agree
to the use of their name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising,trade,
or promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Winners
will be asked to sign an affidavit of
eligibility and a publicity release that will allow the use of winners' names
and likenesses for other promotional activities by the sponsor. Employees
of StarChefs or Boiling Water and/or the sponsors, participating vendors,
their subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, advertising agencies or relating
companies are not eligible for prizes. Neither StarChefs, Boiling Water or
their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions or related companies are
responsible for any damages, taxes or expenses that winners may incur as a
result of this contest or receipt of prize. Winners further acknowledge that
StarChefs or Boiling Water have neither made nor are in any
manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee
express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but
