château stands upon a gentle hill. It is called Saran, and it
belongs to the famous champagne house of Moët and Chandon. Here they entertain
guests from all over the world, and the food served is exquisite - French
haute cuisine at its finest.
Since 1984, Bernard Dance has held the prestigious position of Executive
Chef at Moët & Chandon's famous Château de Saran, world-renowned
for its elegant cuisine and impressive cellars. Prior to that, Dance served as
Chef for some of the most well known and honored restaurants in France.
At Château de Saran, Chef Dance has entertained celebrated guests from
all over the world including heads of state, royalty, corporate leaders
and noted performers from film and the arts. Born in the Poitou region
of France, Chef Dance is a member of the exclusive Jeunes Restaurateurs
de France.
Since 1988 he has been a visiting chef at the prestigious
Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island, USA where the Moët & Chandon
dining room continues to be the setting for many of the University's events.
Château de Saran Dinner menu is prepared exclusively
by Chef Dance. This month's menu pairs the delightful champagnes from the House of
