Steaks in Red Wine recipe
Heat butter and oil in skillet over medium high heat. Add beef and garlic and saute on both sides. Transfer steaks to heated serving platter. Set aside and keep warm. Place skillet over low heat and saute shallots for 2 minutes. Increase heat to high, add wine and tomato sauce, pesto sauce, stirring constantly with wooden spoon, gradually add broth. Return beef to skillet and cook through. Season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
