Rum Sauce recipe
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2 thin slices of oranges
- 2 thin slices of lemon
- 1/2 cup white rum
Simmer sugar, water and fruit in small saucepan, when it comes to a boil , cover pan and simmer for 5 minutes. Add rum, remove slices and strain fruit into rum.
3 or 4 hours before serving, take large shallow dish, place Ba-Ba's in it take a small funnel and put on side of Ba-Ba and pour liquid into them. Let soak cover dish and refrigerate for two hours.
