Fleur de Lys was designed by the late Michael Taylor. Using
700 yards of heavy fabric, hand painted locally in a red floral
pattern. Mr. Taylor created a feeling of immense garden tent
set in the French countryside-mood enhanced by strategically
placed floor to ceiling mirrors. In the center of the room under
the peak of the tent, a towering arrangement of exotic flowers
rises, highlighted from a Venetian Chandelier above. |

Fleur de Lys houses an extensive wine cellar with a capacity
of 10,000 bottles and a selection of 300 wines from France and
California. Some additional wines are held in a reserve program.
These fine labels will appear on the wine list as they further
develop with bottle age. |
Chef: |
Hubert Keller, a native Frenchman was trained by Paul Haeberlin,
Paul Bocuse and Roger Verge before coming to San Francisco in
1982. He became Chef de Cuisine and Partner with Maurice Rouas
of Fleur de Lys in 1986. |
