DAVID SCHOLEFIELD
David Scholefield was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, where a boyhood devoted to falling out of trees, ice hockey and rugby perfectly prepared him for a career as a bureaucrat and birdwatcher. As the wine buyer for the provincial liquor monopoly, David may or may not be responsible for the fact that British Columbia has the highest per capita wine consumption in North America. David has extensive experience as a wine educator, judge, buyer, and speaker, but secretly he'd really rather be a cook.
