EVAN GOLDSTEIN, MS
Evan Goldstein recently assumed the position of Director of Public Relations for The Seagram Chateau & Estate Wines Company as well as being the Director of the Napa Valley-based Sterling Vineyards School of Service and Hospitality. Evan is responsible for the school's curriculum, which is designed to help restaurant and hotel professionals become expert in wine, wine service and restaurant service. He is the former Sommelier at San Francisco's Square One restaurant, where the lists that he created won the Wine Spectator's "Best of Award of Excellence" awards from 1985 through 1991. Evan is one of the two youngest people to ever pass the prestigious England-based Master Sommelier examination, making him one of only 32 Master Sommeliers in the United States and 85 active in the entire world. He is also an advisor to the National Restaurant Association's Educational Foundation.
