Fruit Sangria
Yield: 6-8 glasses
- 2 bottles
dry white wine
- 3/4
cup brandy
- 1/2
cup triple sec
- 3/4
cup simple syrup (see recipe)
- 3/4
cup passion fruit purée or juice
- 1 cup
fresh orange juice
- 2 oranges,
sliced into thin rounds
- 2 green
apples, cored and sliced thinly
- 2 lemons,
sliced into thin rounds
- 1 cup
fresh blackberries, sliced into halves
Combine
the ingredients in a large pitcher and refrigerate, covered for at least
4 hours or overnight. Serve over ice
Simple Syrup
- 3/4
cup water
- 3/4
cup granulated sugar
Bring water
and sugar to a boil in a small saucepan over high heat and cook until
the sugar has melted. Let cool to room temperature.
