Cactus
Pear Margarita
Yield: 2 cocktails
- 3 lime
wedges
- Coarse
salt
- 4 ounces
white tequila, such as Chinaco
- 2 ounces
Cointreau or another orange liqueur
- 2 ounces
cactus pear juice*
- 2 ounces
fresh lime juice
Rub the
lime wedge around the rim of two cocktail glasses and dip the rims into
a saucer of coarse salt (optional). Combine the tequila, Cointreau,
cactus pear juice and fresh lime juice in a cocktail shaker with ice
cubes. Shake well and strain into the cocktail glasses and garnishes
with remaining lime wedges.
